Established in 1936, the founder and successors of Chung Mei Pharmaceutical have adhered the concept of "Conducting business with ethics and in good faith, to love and support each other", and work hard on building our business by participating various charity projects in the spirit of "Never forgetting the origin", "Being forever grateful to the local communities" and "with great love" towards those making Chung Mei into a sustainable enterprise today. We invite different organizations to come together in helping people who are in need to fulfill our commitment to shareholders, society, customers and employees. Chung Mei has received awards and appreciation from society recognizing our corporate social responsibility program in education, healthcare, disaster relief, and the underprivileged group. Doing good deeds to benefits others is the family tradition inherited by all three successors. From generation to generation have been honored by the government with Good people and Good Deeds Awards.

Since the early stage of establishment around Taiwan retrocession, various charitable activities including feast the army, poor community winter relief distribution, long-term financial assistance for family support centers, provision of Home of Love meal expenses to Handicap center, disaster relief of earthquakes and hurricanes, donation of first aid kits to "Tzu-Chi" disaster relief, assisting the disabled on building the "Home for the Spinal Cord Victims", sponsoring of the Scout Jamboree and the Hondao Elders Foundation…etc. Chung Mei has been giving back to the society continuously by holding the original intention for more than 80 years.

A sustainable business is inseparable from the friendly relationship with the local communities. The second generation successor, Chairman Mr. Lin Tsang-Chou, expected and urged the successors to inherit the family spirits of filial piety, doing good deeds and giving back to the society by utilizing the power of enterprises. Established in 2015, Tsang-Chou Educational Foundation vows to help underprivileged families and to deliver moral education; Believing that "education" is the power to change society, Mrs. Lin Shi Shu-Mei, wife of Chairman Mr. Lin Tsang-Chou, visited nearly 300 schools to spread love to 10,000 of children personally to inspire young hearts with hugs. In addition, the foundation continues to encourage the Chung Mei membership pharmacy's successors by awarding scholarship to junior pharmacists who have obtained pharmacist license and diligently cultivate second or even third generations of pharmacy owners. We look forward to the efforts that could bring mutual benefits and grow together with our partners and shareholders.
